At GAIAS Europa, we are taking a new step forward in our commitment to academic internationalization and university cooperation with the signing of the Framework Agreement for Collaboration between GAIAS Europa, the University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), and the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir (UCV).
To formalize this strategic partnership, our CEO, Rafael Jordà Gómez, accompanied the president of USFQ, Diego Quiroga, on an institutional visit to the UCV campus in Valencia, where they were welcomed by the university’s president, José Manuel Pagán Agulló.
This agreement stems from the shared commitment of the three institutions to strengthen social, academic, and scientific development through a stable, long-term partnership. With this signing, we are establishing a joint framework that will enable us to promote international cooperation initiatives in various strategic areas.

Among the main areas of focus outlined in the agreement, academic exchange stands out, as it will facilitate the mobility of students and faculty between the institutions, enriching both the educational experience and teaching practices. We will also promote joint research and cooperation projects in areas of academic, scientific, and cultural interest, fostering the generation and transfer of knowledge.
The agreement also provides for the creation of channels for mutual consultation and the exchange of institutional experiences, with the aim of sharing best practices and strengthening ties among the participating university communities.
At GAIAS Europa, we are also reinforcing our role as a hub for innovation and knowledge transfer at USFQ in Valencia, establishing ourselves as a bridge connecting Latin American universities with prestigious Spanish academic institutions such as UCV.
This alliance represents a decisive step toward excellence and internationalization, uniting efforts to offer more opportunities, better services, and a greater positive impact on society through education, research, and institutional cooperation.
