GAIAS Europa reinforced its international vocation with a visit from academics Nejem Raheem, professor of economics and director of the Department of Marketing and Communication at Emerson College (Boston, Massachusetts), and Guillermo Palau, representative of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), in a meeting aimed at strengthening ties and exploring new avenues for academic collaboration.
Both held an institutional meeting with Andrea Peñaherrera, Academic Director of GAIAS Europa, and Rafael Jordà, Director of the institution, in a meeting focused on exploring new avenues for academic and strategic collaboration.
Emerson College, a leading private university in the United States specializing in communication and the arts, showed interest in learning first-hand about the educational model of GAIAS Europa, as well as its training programs related to communication, management, and international outreach. Professor Raheem’s presence allowed for a dialogue on possible synergies in the fields of marketing, strategic communication, and the global dimension of university education.
Guillermo Palau attended with the aim of exploring opportunities for cooperation in multicultural programs and in the field of sustainability, two key areas in GAIAS Europa’s academic outreach. During the meeting, possible joint initiatives were discussed that would allow students to broaden their international experience and strengthen their training in diverse environments committed to global challenges.
GAIAS Europa highly values these types of meetings, which consolidate its position as a platform for connection between academic institutions in different countries. The institution thus continues to advance its internationalization strategy, committing to alliances that add value to its educational community and strengthen its presence on the global stage.
